This first joint publication from Columbia’s Federal Council of Engineering Deans (CONFEDI) and the Colombian Association of Engineering Faculties (ACOFI) highlights the work being undertaken in engineering faculties throughout Latin America. The publication consists of twelve articles from academics in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico. CONFEDI and ACOFI are working in collaboration with institutions and groups throughout Latin America to further develop engineering education throughout the region, while ensuring engineering programs guarantee excellence within their own contexts. Ultimately, these initiatives seek to contribute to the success and growth in favor of social progress throughout Latin America.
