Webinar with Prof. Keith R. Fernandes

Monday, April 20 at 12:00 UTC

With the outbreak of COVID – 19, educators are faced with the challenge of continuing teaching in a “Teach from Home” setup. In some countries, it has become extremely difficult to practice this as resources are limited and expensive to shift entire classroom teaching to an online platform. In this webinar, we will look at a model on how to set up an online digital classroom with the help of freely available and open-source resources like Canvas LMS, Active Presenter, Google Hangouts Meet, Google Calendar, Microsoft OneNote and YouTube. The objective of this webinar is to explore possible ways to continue teaching through online mode and keep the student motivated without compromising on the quality of teaching. The webinar will also include live demos of all the above-mentioned resources. Even though the online mode of teaching has not prevailed in many of the countries, but today it is a need of the hour. We should be quick and ready to adapt to these changes.
