Dr. Kyaw Naing is President of The Institution of Professional Engineers Myanmar. He is originally from Myanmar and settled in Sydney, Australia where he teaches engineering. He has organized overseas Myanmar Engineers and Engineers in Myanmar to form the Institution of Professional Engineers Myanmar (IPEM) to develop engineering education in Myanmar.
Dr. Kyaw Naing holds several academic and professional qualifications including a Bachelors of Engineering (Electrical Power) from the Rangoon Institute of Technology, Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, Graduate Diploma in Adult and Vocational Education (Australia), Masters of Science (Science Education) from Curtin University in Australia, a Doctor of Education (
