Colleagues,
I want to bring your attention to a unique opportunity in this challenging year. Two colleagues and Peace Engineering Pioneers, Joe Hughes (Drexel) and Mark Nelson (Stanford Peace Innovation Lab), are offering a program this Fall to help universities create revenue generating, online Peace Engineering courses for the current AY. A web link to the program is given below. Joe has been delivering on-line Peace Engineering courses with high enrollments (20 to 40 students), and Mark has a long history of intensive programs that this program is modeled after.
Creating courses that fulfill the needs to: 1) create tuition revenue this year; 2) engage students in socially relevant engineering curricula; and, 3) promote the long-term interest in Peace Engineering, should be of interest to many. Hopefully this is a something you would consider, and you would nominate/support one (or more) instructors for the program.
