Having an Impact: Globalizing STEM Learning and Preparing Tomorrow’s Professionals

Learn how we can create a learning experience that will encourage students to achieve personal success while having a positive global impact. Students often view success through the lens of personal accomplishment and achievement. While personal success is important, future generations of engineering professionals need to consider how they can have a positive impact on our world. Every day we hear stories about how our planet is being degraded by human activity. By integrating topics into a student’s educational experience that focus on globalization and sustainability, students will have a greater appreciation for how they can have a positive impact on our world.   This webinar will share some thoughts on how to engage today’s generation of students in the discussion of how to address tomorrow’s grand global challenges.
