World Federation of Engineering Organizations 50th Anniversary Symposium (WFEO)

The World Federation of Engineering Organizations is an international, non-governmental organization created, under the auspices of UNESCO in 1968, representing the engineering profession worldwide.
Fifty years ago, representatives of 50 scientific and technical associations from all over the world met under the auspices of UNESCO, in Paris, to establish the WFEO, whose charter is to unite multidisciplinary engineering associations throughout the world.
To mark its 50th Anniversary, WFEO jointly with UNESCO are organizing a symposium on “Progressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals through Engineering”. The event will consist of the Symposium itself, from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and of a social event at UNESCO’s Cafeteria at the 7th floor, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
