Polytechnic Summit 2018

The Polytechnic Summit 2018 will gather fellow academic and industry professionals interested in shaking, shaping and sharing the future of education in Engineering and Technology. It will be held at the awarded (RIBA “World’s Best Building” International Prize in 2016) campus of UTEC University in Lima, Peru.

This year’s Polytechnic Summit (PS2018) will focus on 4 thematic lines: >implications and challenges of higher education in the digital era; >industry & academia collaboration; >applied research; and >design, innovation & transdisciplinarity and will feature Keynote Speeches by high profile global education leaders, such as: Jaime Saavedra, Director of Education at the World Bank; Gary Bertoline, Dean of Purdue Polytechnic; Phil Long, Chief Innovation Officer for Project 2021 & Assoc. Vice Provost at the University of Texas at Austin; Carlos Heeren, Executive Director at UTEC; and David Goldberg, President of ThreeJoy Associates and organizer of the Educational Transformers Unconference -which will also be embedded in this year’s PS2018-.

Mark your calendar as busy on June 4th – 6th  because, for the first time, the Polytechnic Summit will leave US territory and will be hosted internationally. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate! We are still receiving and reviewing abstracts for presentations. If you are interested in sending yours, we will happily receive it until April 8th, 2018.
