Designing engineering education for the future and the 4th industrial revolution

The Forum program is designed to be engaging and interactive and will promote dialog and peer to peer engagement. Key conference features will include:

• Experience first-hand the perspectives and techniques of Tsinghua University and Chinese method for education leadership for the 21st century.
• Through tours and demonstrations, learn from the progressive work of Tsinghua University’s International Center for Engineering Education.
• Explore and discuss relevant contemporary topics. Engage in vigorous discussions on effective teaching techniques for key topics such as Industry 4.0, interdisciplinary engineering, sustainable engineering and more.
• Connect to industry perspectives. Hear directly from leading international and Chinese industry executives on the real need of tomorrow’s industry.
• Learn and share global academic best practices. Senior faculty leaders from some of the most accomplished engineering institutions will share their experiences and innovations.

The Forum will be limited to 150 participants and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The conference language will be in English. The event is being supported by the UNESCO International Center for Engineering Education at Tsinghua University.
