The Challenges for Professional Engineering Education in Training Master Students towards Industry 4.0 and Made in China 2025
2018 marks the eighth series of the IFEES and IIDEA capacity building workshops conducted in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE)-Tsinghua Center for Engineering Education (CTCEE). Workshops will be held over two consecutive days, facilitated by global experts in engineering education.
New ways in engineering education courses
The objectives of the first day of workshops are to provide attendees with an overview about the new needs for engineering educators under the conditions of an accelerated technological development towards online technologies and the globalization of education and work.
Professional engineering education
On the second day of workshops, attendees will be provided with guidelines on how to integrate PBL across the engineering curriculum, understand and apply the basic steps in re-engineering the curriculum based on global competencies, and how to teach and asses them.
